			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>By Audrey Nolan The World No. 2 golf player Phil Mickelson announced on Wednesday that he is stepping out from the PGA tour schedule indefinitely since his wife, Amy Mickelson, was diagnosed with breast cancer. According to his management office, his wife will have to be submitted to some more tests but she will start the treatment as soon as possible, and she will be submitted to surgery as well, while Phil will stay beside her to help her overcome this hard situation.</p>
<p>Mickelson was scheduled to participate in the Byron Nelson Championship that is being held this week and he was supposed to defend his Crowne Plaza Invitational title at Colonial next week as well, but that is still uncertain due to the new announcement. In addition, his participation on this year&#8217;s US Open would be on hold while he waits for the results from Amy&#8217;s surgery and treatment. Many people involved with the PGA Tour have already expressed their sympathy with Mickelson and his wife. &#8220;We see Amy as this vibrant, bubbly mother of three who is tremendously devoted to her husband and family,&#8221; veteran golfer Jack Nicklaus said. &#8220;No one, especially Amy, deserves to have to face the battle that accompanies cancer. But we know that Amy has this amazing inner strength and spirit, and with Phil&#8217;s unwavering love and support, they will fight and overcome this.&#8221; Amy and Phil have always been very close to each other; she is always giving support to Phil in all the competitions that he participates in. She is also a very committed mother and wife; she can be seen in the tournaments with their three kids showing love and a positive spirit to her husband who is very committed to her too.</p>
<p>Scott Verplank, who knows Mickelson well and has played with him in two Ryder Cup teams and two President Cup teams, said that he felt really bad when he found out of Amy&#8217;s condition, since for him she is a very neat person who always has a smile on her face and that he hopes they can treat this situation successfully since they discovered the illness in a early stage.</p>
<p>Breast cancer survivor Sarah Strange, who is the wife of former Ryder Cup captain Curtis Strange, also said that she knows that Amy is going to overcome this difficult situation and that she will move forward with confidence because of the upbeat personality that she has; she also expressed that she could share all of her experiences with Amy since she has already gone through the same and that she would give her all her support because she deserves it as she was always supportive to her when her husband was the captain of the team. Amy and Phil Mickelson met each other in 1992 and got married in 1996.</p>
<p>They have three kids together: Amanda, Sophia and Evan of 9, 7 and 6 years. When is Phil going to be back in the Tour is still very uncertain. All of this occurs when Mickelson rival, Tiger Woods, is back from and eight months leave due to a knee surgery; however, his priorities have obviously changed completely now. We hope the best for this great player, his wife and his entire family.</p>

<p>There are always countless ways of approaching any problem. It&#8217;s a question of how creative you are in your search.</p>
<p>Growing pains are limited to bones. As they occur in children who are obviously growing, you can probably see that what the child needs is support with bone growth.</p>
<p>Now you might think you are doing just that with the diet, with plenty of milk. After all milk is rich in calcium and the bones need calcium. Right?</p>
<p>Yes, in theory. No in practice.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>Well, milk is a great food for baby cows. But is a lousy food for humans, and weaned humans at that. So, for all your efforts of providing dairy for healthy bone growth in your child, you&#8217;re way off the mark.</p>
<p>Green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds are the richest source of calcium, in a balanced form which a body can easily digest and utilise. True, they don&#8217;t have as much calcium as milk, but it is ALL in a form which your body can digest and use.</p>
<p>Whereas the calcium in milk is not readily available.</p>
<p>So it&#8217;s more important that the mineral is in an available form to be used by your body, than is the quantity in the food or supplement.</p>
<p>So to treat growing pains, it&#8217;s best to cut out dairy and increase the amount of green leafy vegetables your child eats. Add nuts and seeds into the mix, and that may be all that is needed for healthy bone growth.</p>
<p>But there is a third way to ensure healthy bone growth in children.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are many ways to stop the effect your diet has on inflammation. The easiest is adopting an anti-inflammation diet. Here are the three beginning steps to starting the diet off right.</p>
<p>Fruits, Vegetables and Seafood are Good</p>
<p>Vegetables that offer a deep color are often better for your health. These deep colors often mean higher fiber content and better anti-inflammatory effects on the body. Herbs are also fantastic additions to an anti-inflammation diet. Here is a list of foods and herbs that will best help you to gain control over your inflammation.</p>
<p>Turmeric<br />Oregano<br />Garlic<br />Green Tea<br />Blueberries<br />Ginger<br />Wild Seafood<br />Spinach<br />Collard Greens<br />Kale</p>
<p>When choosing seafood, the smaller the fish the better. Mercury is present in all fish and this is a compounding element. Eating the smaller fish like sardines, means eating from the lower end of the food chain with less mercury. The idea is to boost healthy foods and eliminate unhealthy foods so for every good food you choose as part of your anti-inflammation diet, try taking out a processed food or fatty meat.</p>
<p>Increase Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)</p>
<p>There is talk all over the Internet and in print about the power of EFAs. These fatty acids are present in nearly every food we eat, but the ratio of the different fatty acids is important as well as general consumption. Most people consume far more Omega 6s than Omega 3s and that can reduce the healthiness of even the best anti-inflammation diet.</p>
<p>Foods rich in Omega 3s include fish oil, olive oil, avocado, walnuts and grapeseed oil. An Omega 3 supplement can also be taken to boost this EFA in the diet. While flaxseed oil is the best source of Omega 3s, a fish oil supplement can also be chosen. It is important to make sure the fish oil is mercury free and tested for heavy metals.</p>
<p>Nuts and seeds are also perfect sources of EFAs. There is nothing hard about adding a handful of nuts or seeds to a salad or as a snack every day. For people with nut allergies, soy provides a healthy alternative. Soy is also a good source of lean protein which also has an anti-inflammation effect.</p>
<p>You may also hear about Omega 9 fatty acids. These are naturally occurring in the body, but that does not mean the amounts of this EFA when compared to Omega 3 and Omega 6 should not be taken into consideration. The effect of EFAs is heavily dependent on balance.</p>
<p>Final Step â€“ Take Out the Harmful Foods</p>
<p>So far, stepping into an anti-inflammation diet has been really easy. During the elimination phase, however, some people have trouble giving up the foods they have grown to love the most. When listing the foods that need to be eliminated for their inflammatory effect on the body in order of importance, the list would include:</p>
<p>Trans Fats<br />Sugar<br />Refined Carbohydrates<br />Potential Food Allergens</p>
<p>Trans fats are present in hydrogenated oils like margarine. Despite many labels ready &#8220;0 trans fats&#8221;; they are still in those products in small amounts. Sugar is just not good for the body. Replacing processed sugar with natural cane may be a healthier alternative. Refined carbohydrates include processed flour which is used in nearly every loaf of bread and baked goods sold in a package. Try baking for yourself with whole grain flour instead.</p>
<p>Food allergens often include gluten, soy, eggs, dairy and nuts. These foods will increase inflammation in the body immediately if there is a food allergy. Medical food allergy testing can provide a specific list of food that will cause a reaction in the body. If you want to find out which foods you are allergic to on your own, keep a journal and eliminate the foods one by one for a few days. Then, eat the food in question to see if there is a change or reaction. Mild food allergies often affect gastrointestinal systems with constipation or diarrhea. Rashes and hives, both inflammatory responses, may also appear.</p>

<p>We all know how much better we feel after a good night&#8217;s sleep. Following these tips for a proper Feng Shui bed can help you increase your energy and healing opportunities. You&#8217;ll see improvements in every aspect of your life, from your career to your health and your love life.</p>
<p><strong>Let the chi circulate:</strong> An appropriate bed should have legs, ideally on each corner, elevating it above the floor. This allows the air and chi to circulate beneath it, assisting with the healing nature of rest. This simple act of enabling the chi to circulate under the bed can help with fertility and also health issues.</p>
<p>Removing all items from under the bed also helps the chi to circulate. If you need that space for storage â€“ perhaps because you live in a small apartment with few closets â€“ you can store linens and clothing in well-organized boxes or a trundle drawer. Avoid storing weapons, sharp objects or anything metal underneath the bed.</p>
<p>When you place the bed in the room, it should be positioned so that the chi can flow around both sides. This article explains the command position, which is the ideal location for a bed.</p>
<p><strong>Size of the bed:</strong> A Queen bed is recommended over a King or California King size bed for two reasons. A King size bed leaves no room for upgrading. <p><strong>Price:</strong> The price of the bed is not always a reflection of good Feng Shui. One of my clients recently purchased a $20,000 bed, only to discover it provided very poor Feng Shui and could be a contributing factor in a troubled relationship.</p>
<p>In other words, separate the price from the Feng Shui value of a bed. Purchase a bed that is comfortable and feels right to you. Regardless of cost, your bed should help you achieve your goal of a quality, restful night&#8217;s sleep, where you awake feeling refreshed and renewed.</p>
